All of these cities are about to become one in the great "Merge". From then on, every player entering the game will go straight to EA Land, which will be enormous. EA had to add a whole new zoom level to let users see it all.
The layouts of the lots in the online game are much less organised than those in the offline versions, owing to the fact that EA decided to let communities grow organically, rather than artificially arranging them. While this allows players a greater level of input over their surroundings, it does create a bit of a mish-mash which can be more difficult to navigate around. As EA Land evolves a lot of these wrinkles are being ironed out, and with custom content becoming the norm, EA Land is never short of something new to discover.
